Intercom

Your crew's intercom, on their phones

Channels, positions and a matrix to decide who listens and who talks, like a production intercom. But with no beltpacks, no cables and nothing to install: everyone scans their position's QR code.

Free up to 5 people at once. No card needed.

Set up in five minutes

All from your dashboard, on your computer. What you change reaches whoever is already connected right away.

  1. 1

    Create the channels

Production, Tech, Security… up to 12 per intercom, each with its own name and color.

  2. 2

    Create the positions

One per role: Director, Stage manager, Camera 1, Sound… up to 60 per intercom.

  3. 3

    Set up the matrix

Decide which channels each position listens to and which ones it can talk on.

  4. 4

    Hand out the QR codes

Each position has its own QR code. Scan it with a phone, type a name and you're in.

The matrix

Who listens and who talks, in one table

Each row is a position and each column is a channel. The headphones make the position listen to the channel; the mic lets it talk on it.

  • Changes reach whoever is connected right away, without them having to rejoin.
  • Shortcuts to change a whole row or column at once.
  • Live, a cell lights up when someone on that position is talking.
  • Print the QR codes of every position on one sheet, each with its name.

The beltpack

A single screen, no scrolling

No matter how many channels a position has, the screen always looks the same and everything is one tap away.

  1. 1

    Channel selector

The arrows move from one channel to the next; the list jumps to any of them.

  2. 2

    What's happening on other channels

If someone talks on another channel you see it right away. Tap it to go to that channel.

  3. 3

    Talk button

Quick tap: the mic stays open. Press and hold: you talk while you hold.

  4. 4

    Speaker and volume

Tap the speaker to mute the channel; the slider sets its volume.

  5. 5

    Call

The whole channel or just one person, opening a private line.

  6. 6

    Help and settings

Help that explains every button, the language and whether you accept calls.

Calls

Call the whole channel or just the person you need

Call the channel

Lets everyone listening to that channel know that someone needs them.

Private line

Pick someone on the channel and a line opens just for the two of you, for example the FOH engineer and the PA tech. Either of you can hang up.

Don't accept calls

Anyone who doesn't want interruptions turns it off in Settings: channel calls don't ring for them and nobody can call them privately.

Audio hub

Connect it to your wired intercom

The audio hub turns a PC into one more intercom position that sends and receives audio through sound cards. Connect it to your wired intercom's matrix, a mixing desk or your comms system.

  • It shows up in the matrix as one more position: you choose its channels just like anyone else's.
  • For each channel you choose the sound card and side (left or right) for its input and output.
  • It talks by voice (VOX with threshold), always open or closed, with gain, volume and level meters.
  • Several USB sound cards at once for more channels. Works in Chrome or Edge.

An intercom channel in the audio guide

Send any channel to an audio guide room and the audience hears it on their phones: the interpreter, the host or venue announcements.

See the audio guide

And also

No apps, no accounts

It opens in the phone's browser with the position's QR code. All you need is a headset with a mic.

Automatic reconnection

If the phone switches from Wi-Fi to 4G, it reconnects on its own in seconds.

Live dashboard

Who's connected on each position and who's talking, from your dashboard.

Multilingual

Everyone uses the beltpack in their own language.

QR codes you can change

If a position's QR code gets shared too widely, change it and the old one stops working.
